Reservation & Cancellation Policies

Accommodation & Activity Cancellation Policy

Free Cancellation — 30+ Days Before Arrival
Guests may cancel their accommodation or activity reservation 30 days or more before the  scheduled arrival date and receive a full refund to the original payment method.

Cancellations Between 30 Days and 7 Days Before Arrival
Cancellations made between 30 days and 7 days before arrival are eligible for a refund minus
The applicable cancellation fee is listed below.

Cancellations Less Than 7 Days Before Arrival
Cancellations made within 7 days of arrival are not eligible for a refund.
Instead, guests will receive a digital gift card equal to the value of the reservation, which can be used toward accommodations, activities, the Marshview Patio restaurant, or the Tuck Shop at Long Point Eco-Adventures.

No-Shows
Guests who do not arrive for their reservation and do not contact us in advance will be considered a no-show and are not eligible for a refund or credit.

Reservation Changes & Rebooking
Changes to Reservations
Reservation changes (date changes, upgrades, etc.) are subject to availability, and any Applicable rate differences will apply.

Rebooking
Guests who wish to rebook their reservation will be subject to a $10 rebooking fee. If guests choose to rebook but do not yet know their new date, they will receive the reservation
amount minus the $10 rebooking fee on a digital gift card sent via email.

Cancellation Fees

Activities:

$10 per person, per activity

Rentals:

$10 per person, per rental

Accommodations:

$50 per night

Packages:

$75 flat cancellation fee

Weather & Operational Cancellations

If Long Point Eco-Adventures Cancels

If we must cancel an activity due to inclement weather or operational reasons, guests may Choose one of the following options:
● Rebook their activity for another date
● Receive a digital gift card equal to the value of the reservation
● Receive a full refund

Inclement Weather Policy

Observatory & Stargazing Tours

We are passionate about creating unforgettable stargazing experiences, and cancelling a tour is the last thing we want to do. However, if weather conditions prevent us from providing the full experience, we may need to cancel the tour.
For guests travelling from outside the area, our guides will make a weather decision by 4:00 PM.  On-site lodging guests may receive updates closer to tour time in case conditions improve, because if the stars come out, so will we.

Weather Cancellations for All Tours

Offerings

Tours may be cancelled for safety or experience quality due to:
● Cloud coverage (Observatory & Stargazing Tours)
● Torrential rain
● Thunderstorms
● High winds
● Extreme heat or cold
● Wildfire smoke

Guest Weather Cancellations
Guest - initiated cancellations due to weather within 72 hours of the scheduled activity are not
refundable.
