PADDLE

Come join us for a serene and relaxing paddle up and down Big Creek as it cuts and winds through the breathtaking beauty of our Carolinian forest. Experience towering Sycamore and Black Walnut trees covered with grape and Virginia Creeper vines that lends Big Creek its nick-name the “Canadian Amazon”. You just may catch a glimpse of a soaring Bald Eagle, one of the rivers resident beavers or white-tailed deer.

This approximately 9 km, 3.5 to 4 hour excursion, is perfect for first time paddlers, and includes a few challenges to hold the interest of those with more kayaking experience. You will be paddling expertly when we reach our destination in historic Port Royal. 

All of our SUP tours offer a glimpse into the exciting Stand Up Paddle boarding culture of Turkey Point and the magnificent Lake Erie coastline. Whether you are trying the sport out for the first time and need a breakdown of the basics on sand and water, or maybe you're looking for a relaxing, picturesque tour to gain some insight into your paddle stroke and ability; either way, we can provide a tour that meets your expectations.

All tours will be catered to those participating. We want you to enjoy your time on the water and feel more confident on the board. Our guides understand the waterways and can explain how wind direction can impact a paddle tour. We not only provide insight into the navigation of our local waters, but also prepare you for many different paddle situations on your own.
