Cancellations or re-bookings can be made up to 72 hours prior to your tour or stay. Fees associated with re-scheduling or cancelling your booking are listed below. There are no refunds for cancellations or re-bookings made within 72 hours of your tour or stay. Instead, your remaining balance for the reservation (minus a $20 processing fee) will be loaded onto an LPFUN gift card for future use.
Mabee Marsh Cabin - There are NO refunds for any cancellations or rebooking attempts made within 3 days of your stay. There will be a 100% charge applied to your account if you try to cancel within 3 days of your booking. Any changes to the reservation that results in a rebooking is subject to a $50 flat rate.
Mabee Cabin cancellations that occur BEFORE 1 week of your reservation are subject to a $100 nightly fee. Cabin cancellations made within a week of arrival, up to 3 days before, will receive 50% of their payment back and 50% of their payment on a gift card.
Activity Cancellation - $10/person for each activity
Rental Cancellation - $10/ person for each rental
Room Cancellation - $50/night
Package Cancellation (any room with activity) - $50/night
Rebooking activity, room or package - $10 flat rate
Observatory Cancellation Policy - When it's Bad Weather:
After the 72 hour grace period has ended, every guest will automatically be issued a rain check in the instance of a tour cancellation (due to poor weather); we do NOT issue refunds in the instance of poor weather, as a reminder.
Inclement Weather Policy for General Tours:
Our Cancellation Policy states that there are no refunds for any cancellations or re-bookings made within 72 hours of your tour.
In the case of inclement weather, Long Point Eco-Adventures may have to cancel your tour; as a result, your tour cost will then be transferred into a 'rain check credit' that can be redeemed at a later date.
Examples of inclement weather include, but are not limited to:
- Torrential Downpour
- Thunder Storms
- High Winds
- Extreme temperatures
Quiet time in our accommodations area is 11:00 pm. Please move to our communal campfire area at 11:00pm if you wish to stay up after this time. A fine of $100 will be incurred if excessive noise or complaints occur after 11:00pm in the areas of our accommodations. Our night staff will inform you if you need to quiet down or move to the campfire area. Long Point Eco-Adventures reserves the right to request any person or group of people acting unruly and contrary to rental regulations to leave the premises. Assistance from law enforcement agencies may be acquired if this request is not met immediately.
Garbage cans are provided around the Long Point Eco-Adventures site. If any guest or group creates excessive littering during their stay, or simply chooses not to throw out their trash, a fine of $75 will be incurred.
There is no smoking allowed in our accommodations at Long Point Eco-Adventures. Guests are asked to smoke only in the Main Parking Lot area. Accommodations that have been smoked in, or smell of smoke will incur a minimum fine of $200.
Should housekeeping find any rooms damaged, items broken, or missing, Long Point Eco-Adventures reserves the right to charge up to $500 in damage or clean-up fees.
Check out is at 11:00 am on the day of your departure. If guests stay in their accommodations past 11:00, a late checkout fee of $20 will be added.
By signing below, you are acknowledging that you have read and understand the above policies. You are also stating that you have received your room key and that you will return it to the Welcome Center upon checkout of your accommodations. Any key that is not returned will be a $50 charge.
