The Marshview Patio: Server

  • The Role

    Are you looking for a part-time job serving on the most beautiful, two level patio in Norfolk County? Join the team at the Marshview Patio now! Must be able to work weekends throughout September & October. 

  • The Responsbilities

    • Understanding the POS & payment terminal in the restaurant
    • Must thrive in a fast paced - yet fun -  environment
    • Delivering food & beverage to tables on our two level patio, as well as the indoor dining area
    • Strong knowledge of menu, ingredients and beverages and local offerings 
    • Polishing cutlery/glassware
    • Delivering quick, diligent service to resort guests and Norfolk County visitors
    • Strong customer service & communication skills
    • Availability on weekends, evenings and holidays

Eco Hospitality Team: Cleaner

  • The Role

    Long Point Eco-Adventures is seeking enthusiastic, hard-working and reliable individuals to join our team as a crew member. As a member of our cleaning department, you will work with the cleaning team to get our Glamping Suites and Pods ready for check-in throughout the September and October months; these tasks include making beds, dusting, and daily upkeep of the glamping units.

  • The Responsibilities

    • Arrive on site on time and ready to work
    • Service/clean all guest accommodations on-site
    • Keep cleaning facilities in order
    • Keep site facilities in order
    • Maintain the highest level of customer service while communicating with guests
    • Report any issues/problems to department heads
    • Use positive, open and appropriate communication with all staff members and management
    • Act as an ambassador for Long Point Eco-Adventures both on and off site
    • Perform other duties as requested

Eco Office Team: Crew Member

  • The Role

    Crew Members are required to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented work environment. All crew members must be able to work long hours outdoors in a variety of weather conditions, and must be in good physical shape. Crew Members must be available to work days, weekends and holidays from Sept 5 – Nov. 5th
  • Responsibilities

    • Cleaning suites, pods & communal spaces
    • Supervising axe-throwing tours
    • Booking out lodging & activities for resort guests
    • Working directly with our Flybook booking system

    FULL TIME KITCHEN/ RESTAURANT STAFF

    • Adhering to the 'CleanLodge' practices
    • Working in a team environment with other employees
    • Very customer oriented - any applicants who are interested in serving must be 'smart serve' certified
    • Must be able to work in various weather conditions

Hometown Brew Co: Bartender

  • The Role

    Are you looking for a part-time job serving and interacting with craft beer enthusiasts in an outdoor setting? Join the team at Hometown Brew Co. now! Must be able to work weekends throughout September & October. 

  • The Responsibilities

    • Comply with and enforce COVID-19 sanitation regulation and safety standards
    • Be welcoming and inclusive to all guests who visit the Seacan
    • Responsibly serve beverages to guests
    • Perform opening, closing and cleaning procedures as instructed
    • Maintain stock levels in retail fridge and Keggerator, including tapping kegs
    • Maintain the highest level of customer service and communicate with guests in a positive and
      professional manner
    • Act as an ambassador for Hometown Brew Co. both on and off-site
    • Answer, report and follow up with the Seacan Bar Manager
    • Perform other duties as requested
