COVID-19 UPDATE

Find out what we are doing here at the Long Point Eco-Adventures Resort to help flatten the curve.

To Our Guests and Visitors

Dear Guest,

Just like all of you adventurers, we’ve been monitoring the ever-evolving impact on our World by the novel coronavirus (COVID‑19). Please continue reading for the latest updates.

*ROOM MAINTENANCE: if you are staying onsite and require any assistance from a staff member (plumbing, electric, etc.), we ask that you kindly contact the office, arrange a time slot, and ensure you are not in your unit when our maintenance worker arrives. It's very important we keep our staff safe, as well as you the guest, safe. Thank you for your cooperation. *

LODGING UPDATE: all lodging will be cancelled until June 3rd, 2021 as per the new lockdown guidelines set out by the provincial government. The site will be re-opening for lodging on June 10th, 2021.

MOUNTAIN BIKING, KAYAKING & PADDLE BOARDING TOURS: all activities have been cancelled up until July 5th as a result of new lockdown rules. We hope that by the beginning of July we are able to re-open our water and adventure tours for the season. Rentals, axe throwing & observatory tours will still commence.

ZIP-LINE COURSE: we are diligently working with Adventure Work's - our program provider - in the hopes that we can open the zip-lines this season. Please keep checking for updates, and we appreciate your patience as we work through these logistics.

Our patio, boardwalks, trails and viewing decks are also open to the public. Feel free to come and explore; we just ask that all groups respect socially distancing procedures when using the trails or boardwalk.

MARSHVIEW PATIO: is now open for outdoor dining as of June 11th, 2021. Follow this link to see our menu & hours. Email marshview@lpfun.ca to make a reservation!

At Long Point Eco-Adventures, a commitment to the health and safety of every guest and employee is at the core of our values. The tourism & travel industry is ever-changing and it’s vital for us to respond rapidly and effectively to any international developments or crises to ensure each and every one of our guests is safe on the resort, in our restaurant, and during tour expeditions.  Stay tuned for any additional updates.

A huge thank-you goes out to all of the health care workers, front line employees, delivery drivers, and the many others putting their lives at risk to keep us safe; your dedication is not going unnoticed by our team.

We’re focused on the fantastic summer that's just around the corner, and we’re going to make sure that it's a good one.

Stay safe and stay healthy, adventurers.

Guests Staying in the Cabin

Cleaning Practices

Before you Arrive: We remain focused on the cleanliness of our Mabee Marsh Cabin and communal spaces. In addition to our normal processes, we’ve increased the frequency of several cleaning tasks with a focus on high-touch areas, and our bathroom & shower facilities in the cabin. Linens and towels have been delivered in plastic bags to ensure they do not touch any surfaces before our cleaners make up the beds.

Also, we ask that if you feel unwell, please stay home. For those of you with upcoming reservations, we encourage you to review our cancellation and rebooking policies. We want you to feel confident in your decision to visit the resort. Feel free to give us a call at 877-743-8687 if you have any questions regarding your reservation, or our cleaning and sanitation practices during the COVID-19 surge.

After you leave: Coronaviruses are easily eliminated by routine surface cleaning and sanitization. Long Point Eco-Adventures will use disinfectants and diligent cleaning routines in order to efficiently sanitize the cabin after every rental has checked-out. After every guest stay, our cleaning team will thoroughly disinfect all furnishings, decor, and cloth surfaces, as well as pay intimate attention to bathroom facilities and handles. We will continue to adapt our cleaning practices as developments unfold.
