Explore The World of Birding & Spring Wildflowers Through The Lens of an Expert

About the Event

Join horticulture expert, Bruce Scott on this magnificent garden journey! Bruce will lead participants on a guided hike through the trails to learn all about the native species, shrubs and wildflowers that prosper in Canada's great Carolinian.
The event includes an exclusive meal on the Marshview Patio, over-night lodging, as well as a beer & wine tasting to add to the experience.

About the Expert

"I still get excited when I discover the beauties of our woodland areas, such as American Chestnut, Tuliptree and Flowering Dogwood."

Bruce Scott has worked in the horticulture field for over 40 years.  One of his greatest endeavours began in 1991 when he was granted the opportunity to take charge of the newly renovated Gardens surrounding the Casa Loma Mansion. It was a dream job for Bruce. He thrived giving tours to visitors who came to see the immaculate gardens, while tending to the antique roses, spring wildflowers and perennial borders became his favourite past-time.

After almost thirty years of looking after the Casa Loma oasis in the city, he moved to Norfolk County with his wife to retire.
