Daylight Zipline & Canopy Tour at Long Point Eco-Adventures in Southern Ontario

What to bring and important things to know ABOUT YOUR CANOPY TOUR OR ECO-TOUR

We will provide for you:

  • All your personal safety protection equipment for the zip line canopy tour – helmet, safety harness, zip line pulley, gloves, and safety lanyards.

You should bring:

  • Sturdy, closed-toe shoes like running shoes or hiking boots
  • Sunscreen and bug repellent
  • Proper dress for the day’s weather. As you are in the woods for much of the experience we suggest you wear long pants. Weather can change quickly so we suggest you dress in layers
  • Camera – you will not always be able to hold the camera in your hands so it will need to either be small enough to fit in a pocket or have a strap that can be tied to your harness. 
  • PLEASE NOTE we do provide photos via the Fotaflo system. This allows our guest to have many memories delivered in a private package right into their inbox hassel free. If you book your photos in advance you can save almost 25% on your photo package. It is an easy way to share photos using Facebook or other social networking accounts to prove what you have accomplished to friends, family and followers! Please contact our reception staff at 1-(877)-743-8687 to reserve your photos in advance. 
  • Large backpacks are not permitted on the zip line canopy tour adventure. Small fanny packs are welcome.

    • Flashlight or headlamp for around the site
    • Bug repellent
    • Proper dress for the day’s weather. As you are in the woods for much of the experience we suggest you wear long pants. Weather can change quickly so we suggest you dress in layers
    • Camera – you will not always be able to hold the camera in your hands so it will need to either be small enough to fit in a pocket or have a strap that can go around your neck or be tied to your harness
    • Large backpacks are not permitted on the adventure. Small fanny packs are welcome

      What to bring and important things to know about StarGazing and the Observatory

      The actual observatory and classroom are both indoors. The connecting tower is outdoors so dress properly for the day’s weather. As the steps to the observatory are outside and at the edge of a ravine, we suggest you wear appropriate clothing for the weather. NOTE: the observatory with the telescope is not heated to keep the telescope from fogging up when exposed to outdoor air.

      You should bring:

      • Closed-toe shoes like running shoes or hiking boots for the trails around the site

          What to bring and important things to know ABOUT YOUR guided canoe or kayak tour

          We will provide for you:

          • Life Jackets, dry bag, paddles, map and water safety kit for the canoe & kayak tour.

          You should bring:

          • Sturdy, closed-toe shoes like running shoes or hiking boots
          • Sunscreen and bug repellent
          • Proper dress for the day’s weather. As you are in the woods for much of the experience we suggest you wear long pants. Weather can change quickly so we suggest you dress in layers
          • Camera – there are lots of opportunity to get excellent photographs
          • Large backpacks may be brought but they could get wet. We will provide dry bags for small items for the canoe and kayak tour on the adventure
