Nocturnal Nights: A Birding and owling weekend getaway - October 19-21, 2018

Perch on the edge of Ontario for an unforgettable experience and learn about birds and owls, dine at local eateries, relax with luxury glamping and tour some of the area’s best local wineries. You will explore different species of birds and have two nocturnal nights with exclusive guided access to Long Point Bird Observatory with the possibility of seeing owls, led by national birding expert, Jody Allair of Bird Studies Canada.

Stay up Friday and Saturday nights to discover the world of majestic and calm owls, and during daylight on Saturday, we’ll see off some of the hundreds of species of birds who have begun their journey south for the winter.  Indulge with us at local restaurants, enjoy a wine tour with Ride the Bine, embrace the nature surrounding you, and understand why the birds choose Long Point as one of their stops during migration. It's a perfect adventure for couples and groups of friends alike looking to try something unique and unforgettable.

By joining us on this tour you’re playing an important part in bird conservation and supporting Canada’s national charity for bird research, citizen science, education and conservation.  Participation will automatically include an annual membership to Bird Studies Canada so you can continue your birding adventures and making positive impact after your trip.

*Please note, owls and other wildlife are unpredictable, and although this event takes place during peak migration season, we cannot guarantee the viewing and banding of owls and other birds.
