School Group Science & Education Programs
Long Point Eco-Adventures provides a stunning venue and a diverse selection of half day, full day and overnight Science & Leadership Education Programs and Field Trips for grades 1-12. Available from Sept-Nov and April-June, all programs are based on curriculum links and are fully customizable to the needs of each group. Pollinator Hike & Apiary Art
$25 (Grades 1-12)
Students will learn all about honey bees and other pollinators through lessons, exploring, and activities. Students will get to see a real bee colony from an observation hive and learn what it’s like to be a beekeeper. Art and other activities also included!
Reptiles, Amphibians and Wetlands
$10 (Grades 1-8)
This program takes students into the wetlands to learn about aquatic insects and water quality. Different types of wetlands and their diverse flora and fauna will be explored, including a hands-on study in our own wetland. Students will learn about different reptiles through a live showing including identification tips and specific threats facing each species.
Canopy Walk Tour
$30 (Grades 4-12)
This program will take students into the canopy of the Carolinian forest on our suspension bridges for an amazing tour of canopy ecology. Students will discover another world, learn about the importance of forests worldwide, and find there is still much to learn from exploring the treetops.
Zipline Canopy Tour
$59 (Grades 4-12)
The Zipline Canopy Tour will get students out of the everyday classroom setting and send them flying through the treetops of the Carolinian forest. Two knowledgeable guides will inform students on the ecosystem, heritage and uniqueness of our locality.
$18 (Grades 1-12)
Our teambuilding activities are designed to encourage problem solving and team work while fostering social skills and confidence. Staff can work with you to design activities based on the needs and goals of your group. Activities explore: relationship building, trust, communication and cooperation.

Science in the Natural World
Starting at $40
Includes: Life in the Canopy and Reptiles, Amphibians & Wetlands
This full day program incorporates many facets of science in the natural world. The Reptiles, Amphibians & Wetlands program will introduce students to many creatures native to Southern Ontario and their habitats. The Life in the Canopy program takes students through all levels of the canopy on our skywalk bridges. From the forest floor up to the emergant canopy. There is plenty of unique wildlife to be discovered with this program.

Includes: Zipline & Canopy Tour and Introduction to Ontario's Wildlife
This adventure-based program begins with an exploration of different wildlife and their habitats in Southern Ontario. Students will then explore the canopy on an incredible zipline through the Carolinian forest. They will learn about the natural history of the area from two knowledgeable safety-oriented guides.
Leadership & Teambuilding
Starting at $30
Includes: Teambuilding Initiatives
This program involves a full day of teambuilding and leadership initiatives. Trained and experienced facilitators will design a program based on grade level and the needs of your students. Programs can include trust, teambuilding, communication and leadership based focuses.

With classroom and other facilities including the amphitheatre, kambuka tent and observatory on-site, Long Point Eco-Adventures can accommodate up to 80 students for daytime programs.
We offer the most unique accommodations that your students will ever stay in! Come glamp with us in our Wilderness Suites and Wilderenss Pods. Suites have electricity and full bathrooms, and can accommodate up to 4 students per suite (7 suites with 2 queen sized beds). Pods are more simple, with shared bathrooms, and can accommodate up to 2 students per pod. Please check out our accommodations page for more details!

Our low staff to student ratio (1:10 for elementary students, 1:15 for secondary students) reflects our commitment to providing quality education programs that offer a high level of connection between our guides and your students.
