Guided Mushroom ForayJoin Mycologist Bob Bowles and Naturalist Robin Tapley, and the Blue Elephant's Executive Chef Heather Pond on a wilderness and culinary adventure of mushroom hunting, wine pairing, and culinary delights from the diverse regions of the Carolinian forests. While foraging through the forest participants will learn to identify a variety of edible and non-edible species of mushrooms. Upon return, the Executive Chef will demonstrate how to prepare a variety of wild mushroom recipes. These recipes will be tasted along with a pairing of the finest red and white wines from award-winning Burning Kiln Winery.
